My Mother began seeing Dr. Malik a few years ago, when she had abnormal blood
work, yet no cancer could be found. The blood work returned to normal, but Dr. Malik
remained suspicious that there was something there, undetectable, in it and iss very earliest
stage, and requested Mom continue to followup with her.
Sure enough, a brief time later, a mammogram found a very serious type of breast cancer in it's earliest stage. Surgery and followup radiation were performed, and one year later, Mom remains
cancer free. My Mom, family and I are very grateful to Dr. Malik for her outstanding
care and her persistence in followup, so that Mom's breast cancer was detected in it
earliest stage.
